The Spain midfielder Xavi has given his review about the national team and has recognized that even as they are in good form, they do not feel invincible.
La Furia Roja have not lost on the international stage for a year and this weekend they welcome Turkey to the Bernabeu for a key World Cup Qualifier.
Xavi told Marca that whilst they know they are playing well, they "do not feel invincible" because these days "any team can beat you".
"It is better to be complimented than to be criticised and I hope that it lasts for a long time, but in football you cannot relax, because being the best one week does not count for anything. We have to continue working with the same humility to achieve victories," he explained.
The Barcelona man went on to admit that "we know someday the loss will come, but we want to delay it as long as possible".
With respect to the game this weekend against Turkey, Xavi declared that he is expecting their opponents to be "very competitive and aggressive".
"I expect Turkey will be very competitive, as they have shown in their last two matches. They are a very aggressive and patriotic team. They will surely try to block the midfield knowing that is where we are strong," he mused.
Xavi will be playing against the Turks at the Bernabeu, "He is an extraordinary player, one of the best in the world in his position, he is one of the best friends I have and I will miss him," he concluded.
