The retired professional American football player Frank Gifford will be joining his wife Kathie Lee Gifford the singer and the host of Today Show talk show on the Friday’s episode. It is a pairing os one time and will be broadcasted on WESH-Channel 2.
Frank has also been as sportscaster and will be again facing the camera with his wife for the first time in 15 years.
Frank Gifford is a 78 year old man born on August 16, 1930 in Santa Monica, California. He was the student of the University of Southern California and was named an All-American.
He was playing as a running back for more than 12 seasons with the New York Giants and has eight Pro Bowl appearances and five NFL Championship games. He has also led the Giants to the Super Bowl title in 1956, known as his biggest season.
Unfortunately he lost two years in his career due to the injury caused at the early sixties. He was included into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in July 1970. He then became a sportscaster for CBS and hosted ABC’s Monday Night Football in 1971. He was awarded with the Pete Rozelle for his NFL related TV work. Frank is married to Kathie Lee since 1986 and they have two beautiful children Cody Newton Gifford and Cassidy Erin Gifford.
